Dr. Reatha Clark King earned her PhD from The University of Chicago and was the first female African American chemist employed at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. At York College / CUNY, she was Assoc. Prof., then Associate Dean. After earneing her MBA from Columbia University in the City of New York, she worked at General Mills, rising to become Vice President of the multinational company. Since retiring, she's served on many corporate boards of directors, and is Emeritus Trustee at the University of Chicago. Listen to her tell some of her story at The HistoryMakers:
