    Dr. Gloria Long Anderson

    Dr. Gloria Long Anderson earned her PhD in Organic Chemistry from The University of Chicago in 1968. Born to Arkansas sharecroppers, she became Chair of the Chemistry Department of Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA...then earned the distinguished endowed Fuller E. Calloway professorship several times. Her distinguished career included service to the United States Air Force at Edwards Air Force Base at their rocket propulsion laboratory, as well as being Dean of Science and Technology, Vice President of Academic Affairs, and Interim President for the college. #blackhistorymonth
